Every year, the stage lights illuminate, the sound of the Ghungroo echoes through the hall, and the vibrant rhythm of the Dhol fills the air. This is SAMARPAN—the highly anticipated Annual Celebration of Nrityashree Dance & Fine Art Academy.  True to its name, Samarpan (meaning complete surrender or dedication) is not just a dance recital. It is a collective offering of love, hard work, and artistic devotion presented by our talented students and faculty to the culturally rich community of Guwahati.

At Nrityashree, we believe that dance is a language of the soul.Samarpan serves as a grand canvas where our students display their year-long dedication, moving gracefully across various traditional and classical art forms.  From the absolute beginners taking their very first stage steps to our senior disciples performing complex choreographies, Samarpan celebrates growth, discipline, and community spirit.

• The Grace of Classical Traditions: Witness the geometric precision of Bharatanatyam adavus and the lyrical storytelling of Rabindra Nritya, beautifully capturing ancient heritage.  
• The Vibrancy of Folk & Bihu: Experience the electric energy and rich cultural pride of Assam through authentic Bihu Dance performances, featuring traditional attire like the Mekhela Chador and the striking sounds of the Pepa and Dhol.  
• The Guru-Shishya Parampara: Every performance honors the traditional lineage of teacher and disciple, showcasing the meticulous training and care passed down in our classrooms.  
• Visual Art Exhibition: Samarpan isn't just about movement! The celebration also shines a spotlight on our Fine Art students, featuring an exhibition of beautiful paintings and sketches created during the academic year.
